Peru is already the second largest exporter of Hass avocado in the world and growing at very high rates is becoming more difficult, &#8220;he said.<\/p><h4>Markets<\/h4><p>Regarding destination markets, he highlighted that the Peruvian Hass avocado has more than 180 destinations available throughout the world. In that sense, he pointed out that this fruit from Peru is already consolidated in Europe, ranking as the main supplier, supplying three quarters of that market.<br \/>As for Chile, he said that it is where the Hass avocado from Peru has registered significant growth. He detailed that in 2021, 14% of Peruvian Hass avocado exports went to this market and a similar growth is expected this year. \u201cWe hope to continue supplying the Chilean market in an important way, especially now that maritime freight is scarce and expensive.
